High-intensity interval training may sound intimidating to the uninitiated, but the mission of Kore is to make sure you’re having fun—and that you have a great workout, of course. “My goal is for my clients to leave class feeling energized and ready for the rest of their days,” says Tim Anderson, a trainer at the studio. “Yes, I want you to sweat, yes I want you to feel like you can’t do one more rep. I want to push you one step pass what you think is your limit.”
Part of the way Kore does this is through its music selection. “Music has the power to make people move involuntarily,” says Anderson. “Combine that feeling with doing HIIT, and you won’t even realize that you’re breaking a sweat.” Use this mix from a recent class to power up your next workout:
