Does Our Fitness Director Have What It Takes to Be a Ballperson at the U.S. Open?

Every year, more than 400 tennis junkies vie for the sweet gig that will get them up close and personal with legends like Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova: being a ballperson at the U.S. Open. Only 80 people land the coveted job—you need stamina, a killer arm, and speedy footwork. This year, Women’s Health fitness director Jen Ator went with New Balance to the U.S. Tennis Assocation Billie Jean National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York, to see if she could hack it on the court:

Way to go, Jen! While she won’t actually be working as a ballperson during the tournament (her role here keeps her too busy for that!), it’s awesome to know that she’s cut out for the job.
