They key to mastering this routine: “You want to make sure you’re focusing on both elements of the exercise and completing both parts independently rather than having it blend into one fluid motion,” says Ator. “Sometimes it can help to simply say the name of the move or the motion as you’re doing it: ‘Squat down, raise up.’”
Choose four to six moves from the video above, striking a balance between exercises that require you to “row” or “raise” and those that ask you to “press.” Do 10 to 12 reps of each exercise back to back without rest, repeating for a total of two to three sets.
